Painted Medicine by Dustin Tidwell

Can be viewed at the Salida Chamber of Commerce main office in Salida, CO (as of 3/2016)

If you get to Salida, check out the wall in the lobby at the Salida Chamber of Commerce. One of my favorites is filling some empty space. It really was fun to get to know the great people at the chamber. And its nice to finally feel like we're home :)

Titled: "Light bearer"
aprox 18"x32"
Dustin came to salida in search of a balanced life, healing, and freedom along with hundreds of paintings from his painted journal.
The journal continues here. This piece is titled light bearer. A self reflection i guess. I see a skinny man healing from the trials of the path. He is finally, in complete surrender, falling down to the heavens. He is absorbing the healing yellow light of the sun and it's energy surrounded by an orange glow of creativity.
